Ruling

1. The Applicant was charged and convicted on his own plea of guilty of the offence of burglary contrary to Section 304(2) and stealing contrary to Section 279(b) of the Penal Code Cap 63 (Laws of Kenya). He was sentenced to two (2) years imprisonment on the same date. The Report of Peter Mogusu Ayienda Probation/Community Service that was filed on 1/8/2022 recommends that he be placed on community service order at Nyamakoroto Chief’s Office under the supervision of the Area Chief. It is hereby directed that the Applicant be placed on community service order as recommended in the aforesaid Report until 27/5/2023. Orders accordingly.
