Ruling

1. The convict Collins Oduor Adalla was sentenced to serve 3 years imprisonment on July 28, 2022 for the offence of being found in possession of narcotic drugs. The quantity was 2 brooms with a street value of Ksh 700/=. He pleaded guilty and he had been in custody from April 26, 2022.

2. In the spirit of prison decongestion, I hereby review the sentence imposed on the convict Collins Oduor Adalla and order that unless otherwise lawfully held, the convict herein Collins Oduor Adalla shall be released to serve community service order sentence at Sega Dispensary for nine (9) months and shall not reoffend. He shall be supervised by the probation officer stationed at Ukwala Law Courts.
