Ruling

1. The Applicant was charged with the offence of dealing with alcoholic drinks without licence contrary to Section 7(1) (b) as read with Section 34(a) of the Alcoholic Drinks Control Act No. 4 of 2010. He was arrested on 20/1/2022 and arraigned in court on 21/1/2022 when he pleaded guilty and was fined Kshs. 70,000/= or in default to serve one (1) year imprisonment. His early date of release by prison is 21/9/2022. I hereby direct that he serves the remaining period until 21/9/2022 under community service order at Riakimai Primary School as has been recommended in the Report of Edwin Kimaiyo Probation/community service Officer that was filed on 1/8/2022. Orders accordingly.
