The Plaintiff claimed against the Defendant as follows: a) An order of the Court to compel Defendant to purchase Plaintiff’s Haojin Motor bike with registration number M – 24 AC 432 or pay its equivalent market price which motor bike was stolen from the Guest House due to the negligence of the Guest House on 26th July, 2024 when the Plaintiff lodged in the said guest house. b) An order to compel the Defendant to license the motor bike after the purchase c) An order for incidental cost. Page 1 of 2 EVANS AMASHIGAH V GOD’S WAY GUEST HOUSE 2. The matter was referred to the Court – Connected ADR and the matter has been successfully resolved amicably. The parties have agreed and Judgment is entered in favour of the Plaintiff to the extent of the Terms of Settlement entered into by the parties on 25th September, 2024 as follows: a) That the Defendant shall pay an amount of GH₵10,000.00 to the Plaintiff to cover the value of the lost bike b) That the said GH₵10,000.00 shall be paid in the following manner: i. GH₵4,000.00 to be paid in September 2024 ii. GH₵4,000.00 to be paid in October 2024 iii. GH₵2,000.00 to be paid in November 2024 3. There shall be no order as to costs SGD. MRS.
