RULING

I have seen the pre-bail report which is favourable.  It is dated 13/06/2018.  Since the Applicant’s mother-in-law has a permanent resident, she can in addition execute a personal bond to secure the Applicant’s attendance.

I accordingly reduce the cash bail to a sum of Kshs. 80,000/= without one surety of a personal bond of Kshs. 100,000/=.  The surety shall be the Applicant’s mother-in-law, Alice Aketch Omollo of Tel. No. 0724-******.  The trial court file shall forthwith be remitted to the trial court to facilitate payment of the cash bail.
