Ruling

1. The applicant was charged and convicted for the offence of defilement contrary to section 8 (1) as read with 8 (3) of the Sexual Offences Act, No. 3 of 2006. He was sentenced to serve 20 years imprisonment.

2. Aggrieved by his conviction and sentence, the applicant lodged an appeal, which was dismissed by Kimaru J (as he then was) on 17th July 2019. He later filed an application for revision, dismissed on 5th December 2023, and a subsequent one, dismissed on 14th February 2024. He was expressly barred from filing further applications without prior leave of the court.

3. He has now filed a fresh application seeking similar orders without leave, contrary to the court’s directive. I have considered the application, the supporting affidavit, and the relevant law. The application amounts to an abuse of court process and is hereby dismissed.Orders accordingly.
