IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF JOHANA KEYA KIKUYU (DECEASED)

RULING

1. The dispute herein turns on the validity of a will that the deceased herein allegedly made on 2nd May 2007.

2. In the course of preparing the judgement herein, I have noted that the executor has not provided an English translation of the will on record, which is in Kiswahili, supported by a certificate signed by the translator.

3. I direct that the executor files a certified English translation of the wasia of the deceased, dated 2nd May 2007, within thirty (30) days.

4. The matter shall be mentioned on 11th June 2020, for allocation of a date for judgement.
