1. In the summons dated 31st March 2024 the applicant David Chege Mbugua prays that:-(a)The court extend the time for filing the petition herein beyond the 30 days given by the court on 27th September 2018 and the petition filed herewith be admitted to be the record of the court.(b)That grant of letters of administration for the estate of the deceased be issued to the petitioner herein David Chege Mbugua.

2. The application is based on the grounds thereof. The same is unopposed.

3. The application though has not been supported by any affidavit. The reasons given for the delay is completely irrelevant. There is no reason why about 6 years later the Applicant never complied with the judgement of the court.

4. Being a family matter nonetheless the estate must be dealt with.

5. The application is allowed, the Applicant granted 30 days from the date herein to comply with the orders of 27th September 2018.

6. Costs in the cause.
