Judgment

1. This court was moved vide an Originating Summons dated 25th April, 2023. The Applicant sought he be allowed to adopt a female child namely FC. The child was to be renamed FC. Other orders sought were that the child be declared a Kenyan citizen. Further that the Registrar General does make appropriate entries in the Adopted Children Register.

2. The Originating Summons is supported by the requisite agreement, statements in support and the relevant authorities.

3. There is also a consent to act as Guardian Ad Litem and affidavit of fitness of guardian.

4. This matter was concluded and on 23rd November 2023 MKL was appointed Guardian Ad Litem.The director children services has filed the requisite reports.

5. The Adoption Society also has filed its report. The report is favourable. After perusal of the record, I do find that all the necessary legal procedures and documents have been availed.The application has been well presented and is therefore allowed.

6. The appropriate orders sought are granted. The requisite certificate to issue.
