Judgment

1. In their Originating summons dated 14th November 2023 the Applicants pray for the following orders:-(a)That K R be appointed guardian ad litem in this cause.(b)That the Applicants be authorised to adopt M H G(c)That the Registrar General be ordered to make an appropriate entry in the Adopted Children’s register in respect of M H G

2. The application is based on their joint affidavit sworn on the same date.

3. The court on 8th February 2024 directed the Children’s Department to prepare a report on the suitability or otherwise of the Applicants to adopt the minor.

4. The said positive report dated 11th March 2024 is on record.

5. The parties appeared in court though online on 27th June 2024. The court interviewed them and they agreed that they understood the import of the cause.

6. In the premises the Originating summons is hereby allowed as prayed and L A is hereby appointed a legal guardian. K R is discharged.

7. Costs in the cause.
