Before Hon. Lady Justice Mary Kasango in chambers:-

This matter has been referred to me with a view to revising the lower court’s order of 21st April 2009 in respect of the 2nd suspect JENNIFER MWENDE.  The said suspect along with others was presented before the magistrate’s court at Meru to show cause why they should not be required to execute bonds for their good behaviour.  On 7th July 2009 the Meru Magistrate’s Court in Misc. Criminal No. 19 of 2009 ordered the said suspect to execute personal bond of Kshs. 30,000/= with a surety and in default to serve 12 months imprisonment.

I hereby set aside and revise that order only in respect of Jennifer Mwende and do order that Jennifer Mwende be released on execution of personal bond of Kshs. 30,000/= for her good behaviour for a period of one year with effect from 7th July 2009.
