Ruling

1. The convict NK was sentenced to serve 10 years’ imprisonment for the offence of attempted defilement vide Winam SPM Sexual Offences No. E024 of 2023 on 21st November 2023.

2. The sentence was to take into account the period that the convict had been in remand custody.

3. Vide Revision No. E006 of 2024, the application for revision of sentence was dismissed on 19th March 2024.

4. The convict has again sought for sentence review. I find no reason to review or revise the lawful sentence imposed.

5. The application filed on 14th June 2024 for sentence review is dismissed for being an abuse of court process.
