The Applicant Dennis Koech Kipkurui was convicted for the offence of Store Breaking a committing a felony contrary to section 306 (a) of the Penal Code and Stealing contrary to section 268 as read with section 275 of the Penal Code. He was sentenced to serve 6 months imprisonment on April 12, 2023.

3. He has so far served about 4 months in prison.

4. In the Sentence Review Report filed on August 2, 2023 the Community Service Officer, Julia Isomi recommends community service.

5. According to the said Report the convict is a form 2 dropout. He claims to have committed the crime in order to support his child.
