1. The petitioner was charged and convicted of the offence of intentionally withholding payment delivered erroneously contrary to section 35 of the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crime Act No. 5 of 2018 and sentenced to serve 2 year or in default to a fine of Kshs. 100,000/=.

2. On perusal of the record, I have noted that the petitioner, Ernest Kiprop, has since paid the requisite fine and has been released from custody. All court-ordered obligations have been fully satisfied in accordance with the sentence delivered under section 35 of the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crime Act No. 5 of 2018. In light of this compliance with the judgment, the court is satisfied that justice has been served, and therefore directs that this matter be marked as closed.It is so ordered.
