1. I think that the witness in the stand has not laid any background that would have entitle him to produce the minutes of the meeting of May 12, 1993 at which he admittedly was absent. Only a person who was present at that meeting or who signed the minutes and who could answer matters relating to that document is competent to produce that document. I uphold Ms Njoroge’s objection.
