JUDGMENT

The appellant a student was convicted on her own plea of concealing birth of a child contrary to section 227 of P C and sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. In mitigation, she sought forgiveness as she thought concealing birth was a small matter and she was confused.

It would have been desirable to call for the probation officer’s report in this case. I do so order.

Case will be mentioned on May 26, 1987 when appellant will be produced before court.
