Ruling

1. The applicants were sentenced to each serve three (3) years imprisonment for the offence of stealing a motorcycle contrary to section 278A of the penal code and handling stolen property contrary to section 322 (1) (2) of the penal code.

2. I have looked at the probation officer’s report. It is favorable.

3. I note the offender has served substantial part of the sentence and is said to have reformed.

4. I therefore revise the sentence and order that he serves the remainder of the sentence on probation.

5. He be released to the probation department for further directions.
