Criminal Revision E017 of 2024

RK Limo, J

July 23, 2024

Between

Jeremiah Mutiwa Musee

Applicant

and

Republic

Respondent

Ruling

1. The Applicant exercised his Right of Appeal vide HCC CRA No. 77 of 2016 and got his sentence reduced from 25 to 20 years. Looking at the age of the victim of the offence, the Applicant should consider himself lucky to have had his sentence reduced to 20 years. The application for review is misplaced and is dismissed for lacking in merit. The applicant should appeal to the Court of Appeal if he is not satisfied with the sentence given by this court.
