Ruling

1. The applicant was charged and convicted for the offence of defilement contrary to section 8(1) (4) of the Sexual Offences Act and sentenced to serve 1-year imprisonment.

2. On perusal of the record, I have noted that the applicant has since served the said period and has been released from custody. All court-ordered obligations have been fully satisfied in accordance with the sentence delivered. In light of this compliance with the judgment, the court is satisfied that justice has been served, and therefore directs that this matter be marked as closed.

3. It is so ordered.
