Ruling

1. I have gone through the reports from prisons and probation officer with respect to the conduct of the inmate (convict)

2. Although the reports are both favourable I note that the inmate has only served 10 months of the sentence.

3. This cannot be termed as a long sentence in view of the seriousness of the offence he was convicted off.

4. I therefore decline to order for his early release.

5. The inmate to serve the sentence to completion.
