1. This matter is for mention for parties to confirm compliance of directions on the application dated 4th January, 2024.

2. However, the court is in receipt of a letter from the Officer-in-Charge, Kiambu Prison dated 13th September, 2024 in respect of the Applicant No.I.R.O KIA/1532/OR – John Kamau Njogu.

3. Upon reading through the said letter and copy of Community Service Order dated 11th July, 2024 and attached thereto, I find that the sentence meted against the Applicant was substituted to three (3) months Community Service Order at Mukeu Chief’s Office on 11th July, 2024.

4. For this reason, the application has been overtaken by events and hence abandoned. This file is thus marked as closed.It is so ordered.
