Ruling

1. The Applicant was charged and convicted of the offence of creating disturbance contrary to the provisions of Section 95(1) (b) of the Penal Code and was sentenced to one year imprisonment on 28th March, 2023. He has now applied for review of his sentence under the provisions of the Community Service Order.

2. I have perused the Applicant’s sentence review report and I note that the same is not favourable to him. I however note that the Applicant’s expected date of release is 28th November, 2023 where I do hereby review his sentence and release him forthwith unless otherwise lawfully held.

3. The Applicant is cautioned to keep peace and to be of good behavior and he shall therefore execute a personal bond to keep peace for a period of 6 months.
