Ruling

1. The applicant, Kevin Owino Odenyo, has vide a Notice of Motion application dated May 18, 2023 filed under certificate of urgency and supported by the affidavit of his advocate, Wilson Hassan Nandwa, sought an order of bail pending appeal.

2. I have gone through the application and note that the proposed/ intended appeal has not been annexed to the application, neither has the judgment and sentence of the trial court been annexed for my verification.

3. I would therefore at this stage decline to issue the orders sought but direct as follows:

4. a.That the application and order be served upon the respondent within 7 days.

5. b.That upon service, the respondent to file a response within 7 days

6. c.That this matter be mentioned on June 22, 2023 for directions.
