Criminal Application E132 of 2024

RE Aburili, J

August 19, 2024

Between

Victor Odhiambo Okello

Applicant

and

Republic

Respondent

(From the original conviction and sentence in Nyando SPM Cr. Case No. E474 of 2024)

Ruling

1. The applicant claims that he is a convict in Nyando SPM Cr. Case No. E474 of 2024 in which he was sentenced to serve 4 years in prison for the offence of breaking (sic). He prays for sentence reduction because he pleaded guilty so he should be given a fine as he is remorseful. There is no evidence attached to support those assertions.

2. I find the application is not supported by any material. It is hereby dismissed.
