Ruling

1. The Applicant Michael Jume Olenyo was convicted and sentenced to serve 12 years’ imprisonment for the offence of Manslaughter contrary to Section 202 as read with Section 205 of the Penal Code.

2. He seeks for sentence reduction and application of Section 333(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.

3. The Applicant has not annexed any proceedings from the lower court and or the Appeal HCCRA No. E033 of 2021 for this court to confirm whether he was on bond or not during the trial.

4. There is no basis for sentence reduction.

5. The application is declined and dismissed.
