Ruling

1. The appellant before this court was charged, convicted and sentenced to 3 years imprisonment for the offence of burglary and stealing contrary to section 304(2) and 279(d) of the penal code. The sentence was imposed on 30th of September 2019 and being dissatisfied with trial court’s decision the appellant filed the instant appeal. I have perused the record and it is not worthy that the sentence has been running from the said date and the applicant has already served the said sentence. The present appeal is therefore rendered moot and the files matter closed.
