Ruling

1. The applicant was charged with cultivating of prohibited plant contrary to Section 6(1) (a) and (9) (1) (b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic substance control Act No. 4 of 1994. He was sentenced on 23/12/2021 and he has already served eight (8) months one (1) week. He took plea on the same date. The early date of release by prison is 23/4/2023. I hereby direct that the Applicant serves the remaining period of his sentence of seven (7) months under community service order at Amainga Health Center as has been recommended in the Report of Edwin Kimaiyo Probation Community Service Officer that was filed on 1/8/2022. Orders accordingly.
