(Being an appeal against the original conviction and sentence dated 19the August 2016 in Criminal Case No. 329 of in Bondo Law Court before Hon. M. Obiero, PM)

JUDGMENT

The appellant wishes to contest only the sentence. I have looked at the fact he was sentenced to two consecutive sentences of two years each. I reduce the sentence on the second count of handling suspected stolen property and order that the appellant be released on a suspended sentence for a period of two years. Should he re-offend, he shall be committed to complete the sentence. Probation Office to be informed. Appellant is released unless otherwise lawfully held.
