[2] I have heard Counsel in mitigation. The convict has pleaded guilty and saved Court's time and resources. He is a young person. lie was 18 years old then, he is now 19 years. The drugs is on the low side. He is gainfully employed as a Gardener. I find no aggravating factors other than he escaped and avoided being detained. [3] I impose the following sentences: Count I - 1 year imprisonment suspended for 2 years + a fine of Rs 20,000 to be paid within 6 months. Count 2 - Rs 1,000 fine. Count 3 - Obstruction - fine Rs 1,000 Total fines of Rs 22,000 to be paid within 6 months, in default 6 months imprisonment. He can pay by instalments.
