R U L I N G

In the Originating Summons dated 5th September 2011, R. W. G., applied to be authorised to adopt baby N. M. pursuant to the Provisions of Sections 158 and 170 of the Children's Act.

The Applicant filed a statement in support of the application. I have considered the grounds set out on the face of the Summons plus the Statement of Facts. I have further considered the report by the District Children's Officer, Kirinyaga South together with the reports filed by Little Angels Network. I am convinced that the application meets the requirements of the Children Act. Consequently, I hereby allow the Originating Summons in terms of prayers 2 and 4.
