RULING

1. Upon hearing the submissions of the State and taking into account the evidence of the doctor as to the cause of death of the deceased, I am satisfied that a prima facie case has been established to enable me put the Accused on her defence which I hereby do. The accused is therefore advised of her rights under Section 306of the Criminal Procedure Code.

2. It is worth noting that the accused was the only adult with the deceased at the material time in the house and she is therefore called upon to state her side of the story if she so wishes.
