S E N T E N C E

1. I have considered the able mitigation made on behalf of the accused. She is a first offender. She is remorseful. That she acted at the heat of the moment which led to the demise of her husband.

2. A life was lost at her instance. I have noted the persecutions submission on the sentence. The victim impact report on record is negative of the accused. Considering all the foregoing I sentence the accused to seven (7) years imprisonment.
