RULING ON SENTENCE

The accused was first arraigned in Court on 24th June, 2014. Plea was taken on 26th June, 2014.

After a plea bargaining arrangement he pleaded guilty to the charge of Manslaughter on 8th April, 2015.

I have considered the Mitigation of the accused plus the social inquiry report filed herein.

Accused is aged twenty-six (26) years old and unmarried. Since the home report is favourable I find this to be a case where the accused should be given a chance to remould his life.

He is sentenced to serve three (3) years on probation.

Conditions explained.
