RULING

1. David Wambua Mutunga is charged with murder contrary to section 203 as read with section 204 of the Penal Code.

2. The prosecution has closed its case after calling six (6) witnesses. The cause of the deceased’s death was haemorrhage secondary to multiple stab wounds. Postmortem report EXB5.

3. From the evidence of the six (6) witnesses, I am satisfied that the prosecution has established a prima facie case against the accused who I hereby place on his defence under section 306(2) Criminal Procedure Code.
