S E N T E N C E

1. I have considered that the accused is a first offender.  I have also considered that he is a father of 2 children and that his wife died in 2010.

2. I have taken into consideration the presentence report which is extremely positive of the accused.

3. I have considered that the accused has been in custody for now three years.

4. A life was lost at the hands of the accused. The sentence provided in law is death.

5. However, considering all the foregoing and in particular that the accused has not expressed any remorseness for his action. I hereby sentence him to serve (7) years imprisonment. Right of Appeal 14 days explained.
