I have considered the mitigation and the Probation Officer’s Report.

I have also considered the precedents from the Court of Appeal on sentencing in murder cases (for example Joseph Njuguna Mwaura & 2 Others –vs- Republic 2014 e KLR; and Dickens Odari Bige & Another –vs- Republic 2014 e KLR).  The sentence for murder is a mandatory death sentence.

The accused is hereby sentenced to death as provided by the law.
