RULING

I have carefully perused and considered the evidence adduced by the prosecution in support of the charge against the accused.  I am satisfied that there is a prima facie case made out to warrant the accused being put on his defence.  Pursuant to section 306(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code, I put the accused on defence.  His counsel will indicate to court whether he will give sworn or unsworn evidence or remain mum and whether he will call witnesses.
