Directions On Bond 1. By a ruling dated 8th July 2021, the court directed that the bond granted to the Accused by Wendo Judge on 6th October 2020 would not be cancelled but instead be suspended to await the witness deemed to be in danger of being interfered with namely Winne Njoki who was said to be deceased person’s fiancée and the father of the deceased person until tender their testimony was tendered.

2. This was pursuant to the application by the Prosecution dated 15th July 2021 seeking for cancellation of bond which was heard inter parties.

3. The order granting bond by Wendo Judge was never set aside nor the orders granted herein only suspending approval of bond,

4. Thus the 2 said witness having testified, unless there are new development, the accused stands entitled to be released on bond/bail.

5. Thus, the term of the bond will go to the Deputy Registrar for Approval.
