Sentence

1. The attack upon the deceased and another was wholly and senselessly brutal. Even after appreciating the recommendations in the pre-sentence report and the passionate mitigation address by the counsel, the court finds that the accused deserves a custodial sentence and needs to be removed from society as a way of protecting the society from possible harm from him.

2. He is committed to serve a prison term of twenty years computed from the August 16, 2018 when he surrendered himself to the police and was taken into custody.
