1. The life of the deceased Sadam Odhiambo Otieno was cut short as a result of rogue & gang mentality by the accused and his accompanies. Although this court has considered his mitigation this court must pass a sentence that mirrors the seriousness of the offence he committed to act as deterrence to anyone else who may be harbouring the accused person’s kind of recklessness.

2. The accused is therefore sentenced to serve 20 years imprisonment. Sentence to run from 29th July 2020 when he was arraigned in court.
