1. I have considered the pre-bail report filed herein on 5. 7.2024 by William O. Otieno, Probation Officer Kisumu and I note that the accused person has no fixed abode, his mother relocated from her residence in Chemelil after the commission of the offence. The accused is said to have lied about the existence of his parents; had said that they were deceased yet they are alive. He is further said to be a flight risk and both his family in Siaya and the community in Chemelil oppose his release.

2. In light of the above reasons the accused person is not suitable for admission to bail wherefore he shall stand trial while in custody.

3. Hearing to proceed on 5. 2.2025.
