1. I have considered the mitigation. The accused is first offender. That he is remorseful. I have considered that he willingly admitted his wrong doing and therefore saved the court’s time.

2. I have considered the pre-sentence report dated 12/6/2025 and the sentiments therein. However, a life was lost.

3. I sentence the accused to serve 8 years’ imprisonment to commence on 27/5/2025 when he was first incarcerated.It is so ordered.
