SENTENCE

The circumstances of the offence show that the deceased was the aggressor and the accused was acting in self defence.  The Probation Officer’s report is positive.  The accused is a single mother of five children. This court is inclined to mete out a non-custodial sentence.

Order:  To serve three years on probation.  Right of Appeal 14 days.
