RULING
Peninah Nguhi Kiniaru, the Accused was charged with the offence of murder contrary to Section 203 as read with Section 204 of the Penal Code.
The Accused and Deceased lived together as husband and wife and the evidence on record shows that the Accused was the last person seen with the Deceased. The Deceased was found lying in a corridor in the house they occupied and died of stab wounds.
From the evidence adduced by the five (5) prosecution witnesses, this court finds that the prosecution has established a prima facie case that warrants placing the Accused on her defence.
This court finds that the Accused has a case to answer.
It is so ordered.
