1. The Court has heard the mitigation from the accused counsel as well as the learned State counsel.

2. The Court has equally perused the presentencing report dated 21/6/23 and appreciated its contents

3. In the circumstances this Court sentence the accused to serve Five (5) years custodial sentence from the date herein. Hopefully the term served in custody will be a good lesson for him where he shall be able to appreciate the consequences of anger.

4. There was no reason at all for him to take the life of his father who had provided him with land and a motorbike.

Orders accordingly.
