1. The Applicant’s sentence was reduced to 6 years imprisonment by the High Court on appeal.

2. The same was to start from the date he was sentenced by the trial court.

3. The Applicant has applied to this court seeking to have the period he stayed in custody reduced from the said term.

4. The application is allowed and the computation of the said term will now start from the date he was first arraigned in court i.e. January 4, 2021 instead of May 25, 2021 when he was sentenced.Orders to issue accordingly.
