REPUBLIC OF KENYA

IN THE HIGH COURT OF KENYA

AT NYAHURURU

CRIMINAL REVISION NO.16 OF 2017

SAMUEL SINE LANGAI.............................APPLICANT

- V E R S U S –

REPUBLIC.................................................RESPONDENT

REVISION ORDER

Criminal Case No.1200 of 2015, Samuel Sine Langatplaced before me for purposes of Revision through the letter written by Wangari Advocate dated 11/5/2017.

From a reading of the letter, it seems that the accused has been detained unlawfully yet he had been released on bond.  I have read the last order of the court made on 31/5/2017 by Hon Momanyi SRM and it is clear that the accused’s bond was reinstated and the warrant of arrest lifted.  It means that the accused is supposed to be out on bond.  If for any reason or mistake he is being held in custody, then he should be released forthwith to appear in court on 27/7/2017 as ordered by the trial court.

Signed and Dated at NYAHURURU this 22nd day of June 2017.
