Ruling

1. The matter is scheduled for mention for parties to show cause why the suit should not be dismissed for want of prosecution, a Notice to Show Cause thereof issued on 18th March, 2025.

2. There has been no response to the Notice and neither have the parties nor their respective counsel attended court to show cause why the suit has not been prosecuted since June, 2024 when the same was filed.

3. In view of this, it is clear that the parties and more so the Petitioner have lost any interest in having the suit prosecuted. Therefore, to unclog this Court’s system of backlog, the suit be and in hereby dismissed for want of prosecution.It is so ordered.
