1. I have considered this application of the applicant that he be released on bail on reasonable terms. The prosecution has not shown any compelling reason that would make this court find the accused unsuitable for release on bail. I have also considered the probation officer’s prebail report filed herein on January 28, 2024. The same is in favour of the accused being placed on bail.

2. In the circumstances, I order that the accused be released on bail on the following terms: -i.A bond of Kshs. 500,000/= with 1 surety of a similar amount.ii.In the alternative a cash bail of Kshs. 100,000/=.iii.If released on bail, the accused is ordered not to contact and or interfere with any prosecution witness (es) either directly or by proxy till this case is determined.iv.On being released on bail, the accused is ordered to attend court at all times as would be ordered from time to time this case is determined.It is so ordered.
