About this statute

Autoriza o Poder Executivo a instituir um programa especial de desenvolvimento para a região integrada de Petrolina/PE e Juazeiro/BA. A União pode firmar convênios com os Estados de Pernambuco e da Bahia e com os municípios referidos no art. 1º, parágrafo único, para atender a esta Lei Complementar. The Executive Branch is authorized to create an integrated regional development area for Petrolina/PE and Juazeiro/BA. Priority regional programs and projects will be financed with budgetary resources and with external and internal credit operations. This complementary law enters into force on the date it is published.
